Ireland (14) into calling 911, after he threatened to take an overdose of pills. The New York Post reports that Alec was carted off to hospital after his daughter’s call, only to be released from
Lenox Hill Hospital in
New York at 1am, when it was proven he’d only been threatening
Ireland. Alec’s rep has blamed
Ireland for making an unnecessary fuss in a statement to
US magazine: "This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine, and will be at work today. If there was any real issue or concern, he wouldn't have been released from the hospital so quickly."
