Is this (finally) the beginning of the end for Katherine Heigl and Grey's Anatomy? Entertainment Weekly reports that Katherine will be missing from five episodes of Grey's Anatomy's sixth season (starting later this month in the US) because she'll be working on a new movie. Her break follows a recent talk show appearance in which Katherine moaned about the show's 17-hour work days.ABC president Stephen McPherson was not amused by her little outburst and publicly reprimanded her. But she was still given permission to go off and film the romantic comedy Life as We Know It. Hmmm... are the producers giving in because they're scared of losing her, or because they just can't stand the drama any more and are preparing viewers for Izzie's eventual departure?
